Hermon’s Checklist:
Fly Rod and reel 8 or 9 weight- sometimes heavier line helps in wind
Floating line – bring extra spool of line there is no fly shop on Andros
Leaders and tippet- 16 or 20 lb
Flies- size 2 gotchas work great, bead chain and dumbell eyes, tan/pink/lots of flash
Hip or chest pack, fly boxes, hemostat, pliers, line clipper
Wading boots (scuba type work well) and socks – neoprene are great
SPF long sleeve shirt and zip off type pants
Hat and face shield, Sun gloves, sunblock
Polarized Sunglasses (amber color, bring a back up pair)
Cash (there is only one bank on Andros and it is in Nichols Town)
